Rent guarantees are provided subject to a tenant having been successfully referenced. The reference company will then submit the policy for insurance and in the event of the tenant becoming one full month in arrears the insurance company will pay the rental amount direct to Lettingsupermarket.com Ltd monthly in arrears, who will then forward this on to the landlord.
The insurance company will also provide all the relevant legal cover to regain possession of your property as soon as possible and all legal costs relating to the rent guarantee are included.
A rent guarantee policy only covers a tenant whilst they are in occupation of the property and this will not cover times when the property does not have a current tenancy agreement in place.
